In 2022, the company reached a historic milestone by becoming the first solutions aggregator to publish a comprehensive global study of the technology ecosystem, amplifying the voices of business partners worldwide. 

In 2024, the organization continued this momentum by presenting its third annual report, which gathered insights from more than 1,000 B2B channel partners across more than 60 countries. This report highlights the key trends transforming the industry. 

In Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC), nearly 200 partners participated in the survey, sharing their perspectives on business performance over the past 12 months and their expectations over the next 12 months in a constantly evolving technology landscape that demands continuous adaptation. 

Unwavering Optimism of LAC Partners 

Partners in the LAC region reported revenue growth significantly higher than any other region, highlighting the immense potential for opportunities within the IT ecosystem for the region: 

• 46% of respondents reported revenue growth, increasing 10% compared to the previous year. 

• Security emerged as the most in-demand solution, with 71% of partners currently offering this service and 61% planning to implement it in the next two years. 

• While traditional hardware and software remain core business pillars, accounting for 26% of total operations, growth is expected in professional and managed services, along with high-growth technologies, like AI, cybersecurity and hybrid cloud. 

• 89% of partners in the region plan to incorporate AI into their portfolios within the next year, underscoring the rapid growth of this transformative technology. This shift is redefining the future of the IT ecosystem, driving increasing demand for integrated technologies over standalone products. 

Empowering the Future with Our Partners 

Today’s ecosystem demands that all industry players stay ahead of the curve by offering integrated services that meet growing business demands. In this context, professional services are emerging as a key area of growth in the coming years: 

• 85% of partners surveyed anticipate increased sales in professional services over the next three years. 

• 57% are hiring personnel with specific skills to strengthen this area. 

Additionally, in the face of a challenging economic environment, the importance of flexible financial models that enable partners to offer tailored, market-adapted solutions is emphasized: 

• 56% of partners already provide flexible consumption financing solutions and credit or leasing options. 

Emerging Trends for a Resilient Technology Ecosystem 

The annual report also highlights the growing importance of environmental and social sustainability as strategic pillars for business development. Training, certification, and regulatory compliance are critical aspects emphasized by partners: 

• 39% of respondents identify changes in ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) regulations as a high-impact factor. 

• 76% consider diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I) metrics to be the most influential regulatory areas. 

TD SYNNEX conducts surveys to measure its performance in promoting diversity and inclusion in the region, enabling it to identify areas for improvement and focus strategic efforts. Additionally, the company offers sustainability training modules to its partners, helping them understand and implement sustainable practices in their daily operations.
