Bob was more than a business leader; he was a mentor, a friend, and an inspiration who left an indelible impact not only on our company but also our community and the broader technology business partner ecosystem. His unwavering commitment to unlocking value for our vendors and customers propelled Tech Data to new heights, expanding the business to a true end-to-end portfolio through the groundbreaking acquisition of Avnet’s Technology Solutions business. This and so many other accomplishments laid critical groundwork to put the company on the path to who we are today as TD SYNNEX.
His impact extended far beyond the boardroom, and we are all grateful for his commitment to touching lives across the Tampa Bay community through his philanthropy and leadership with nonprofit causes, including the United Way Suncoast and American Heart Association.
