Dr. Azucena Quispe leads with purpose, building stronger communities through acts of service with Fuerza.
In honor of Hispanic Heritage Month, this month’s Feel Good Friday shines a spotlight on Dr. Azucena Quispe, IT Governance Specialist and Community Outreach Chair for TD SYNNEX’s North America business resource group, Fuerza. Since Fuerza launched in 2019, Azucena has played a key role in driving Fuerza’s commitment to empowering the Hispanic and Latinx communities both within TD SYNNEX and in the local area.
As Community Outreach Chair, Azucena has led several impactful initiatives, including holiday toy drives, food drives, and assembling bilingual literacy kits for families. One of her standout projects has been her work with the Hispanic Outreach Center in Clearwater, Florida, a cause close to her heart. Through her dedicated leadership, Azucena has successfully engaged 25 of her TD SYNNEX co-workers and Fuerza members, contributing an impressive 144 volunteer hours to support the center’s programs and services. Through this successful collaborative project, the Hispanic Outreach Center was eligible to receive a $10,000 from TD SYNNEX through the Charitable Giving Program, reinforcing the company’s commitment to uplifting the Hispanic/Latinx community.
So, what fuels Azucena’s passion for giving back? “Volunteering is important because it is more than an act of kindness, it’s a commitment to improving our communities. As we come together in service, we not only address immediate needs, but we also lay the groundwork for a more compassionate, connected, and caring society,” she shares.
Azucena’s dedication goes beyond the initiatives she leads—it serves as a powerful reminder of the change that can happen when people unite for a common purpose. Her work with Fuerza and her unwavering commitment to service is truly inspiring.
