How Bola pra Frente and the TD SYNNEX LAC team are inspiring resilience and opportunity for youth in Brazil.
This month, we’re spotlighting nearly two decades of impact in our Latin America & Caribbean (LAC) region through a remarkable partnership with Bola pra Frente, an organization whose name inspires resilience: “Let’s go on.” Together, the LAC team has built a story of hope, opportunity, and community that continues to transform lives.
The partnership began in Rio de Janeiro when former Brazilian soccer champion, Jorginho, visited our office to share his dream: creating a “Disney World” for children in his hometown, a community facing significant social challenges. His vision was to build a safe space where kids could thrive after school through arts, sports, and extracurricular activities. Local businesses rallied behind the idea, and TD SYNNEX proudly joined the effort.
That vision has since grown into a lasting source of support for the community. Today, Bola pra Frente supports over 400 children aged 6–17, offering not only immersive activities but hope and opportunity. With an emphasis on education, many kids in the program have successful journeys after graduating high school and attending college. Some have even joined the team at TD SYNNEX.
The impact extends beyond the students themselves. Many co-workers often volunteer at the site, lending a hand and building connections that make the experience deeply rewarding. Each year, Bola pra Frente hosts a special dinner where children, families, sponsors, and even famous soccer players come together to celebrate achievements and express gratitude.
As Otavio Lazarini, President of LAC, shared: “Day to day, we do our best for the business, but at the same time, dedicating a piece of our time to give back to the communities where we live makes us proud… and it’s very fulfilling for us.”

In LAC, connection and harmony are at the heart of everything, and that spirit continues to guide how our team’s giveback and show up in their communities. For TD SYNNEX, this work goes beyond volunteerism, it reflects our culture and values in action.
