Augie Staab, Sr. Manager, Go-to-Market Solutions Strategy, recently joined Chris Johnson on the MSP 1337 podcast to discuss how MSPs can curate the right cybersecurity stack and what it means to partner with organizations like TD SYNNEX to help fill in areas where extra support is needed. Staab shared the following about distribution’s role in the MSP space:
“As a distributor, one of the biggest values that we bring our partners is the ability to fill any gaps within their portfolio or technical capacity. So when partners come to us – let’s say they are a small MSP shop – and they don’t have the bandwith or the time to fully scale and invest in a cybersecurity expert or having a resource dedicated to that, they look to us to fill those gaps.”
She also discussed MSP Evovle, TD SYNNEX’s comprehensive aggregation of resources, solutions and support designed to meet MSPs where they are and enable them to grow their business. She shared what trends they’ve noticed from working with MSPs through MSP Evolve:
“One of the themes that has become more prevalent is looking to partner with other MSPs or other MSSPs to help mitigate some of those (capability) gaps, as well as do knowledge transfer on how to potentially upstand recurring security services that are cost effective.”
