Adam Rutstein, vice president of corporate citizenship and sustainability at TD SYNNEX, recently caught up with CRN to discuss how sustainability and CSR have shifted from a “nice-to-have” to a business imperative.
Following the release of TD SYNNEX’s third annual Global Citizenship Report, Rutstein highlighted the company’s early achievement of its 2030 Scope 1 and 2 emissions reduction target, a six-pillar CSR strategy, and a strong culture of co-worker engagement—with more than 7,300 volunteer hours logged in the past year. He emphasized the power of collaboration across the IT channel, noting TD SYNNEX’s partnerships with Lenovo and Dell as examples of driving meaningful change at scale. Rutstein encouraged channel firms to simply “get started” with CSR, framing it as both a differentiator and a value driver for business.
