Global communications firm Edelman recently published their annual Trust Barometer, which surveyed more than 32,000 people across 28 countries and found that — by a 6-to-1 margin — respondents want more societal involvement by business on issues such as climate change, economic inequality, and workforce reskilling.
As a global employer and responsible corporate citizen, we are working to find out how we can make a meaningful impact in these areas. Earlier this year, we were proud to publish our FY22 Corporate Citizenship Report, highlighting our goals and progress toward many environmental, social and governance initiatives.
Nearly a year to the day since we publicly announced our Corporate Citizenship Program, we had opportunity to share more about our commitment in a column published today by ChannelPro Networks. In this column, our CEO Rich Hume explains why this matters to us, how we got started and why we feel it’s important for others across the channel to make the same commitments.
“These commitments don’t just define what we do — they speak to the core of who we are, and who we are going to be. Values such as diversity, equity, inclusion, sustainability, and community engagement are at the center of our operational philosophy and practices, and as part of this, we launched a strategic Corporate Citizenship program globally shortly after the merger.”
