EVPS
Event Snapshots:
- Location: Berlin, Germany
- Date: October 7-8, 2024
- Attendance: 350
- Theme: All in for Growth
Our European Vendor Partner Summit (EVPS) was an opportunity for TD SYNNEX to coordinate our strategy with our vendors while exploring new opportunities and showing appreciation for their partnership. The theme of the event was “All in for Growth” with the intent to accelerate growth together with our partners and create impactful connections. Miriam Murphy, President of TD SYNNEX in EMEA, kicked off the event, and while she is no stranger to the EVPS stage, this was her first EVPS as President of the region. She reflected on her learnings working in IT distribution over the past 35 years and TD SYNNEX’s history, namely its 50-year anniversary since the founding of Tech Data. She emphasized the importance of the connections with our partners in the past and future stating:
“In this era of acceleration, our partnerships are as vital as ever.”
Patrick Zammit, CEO of TD SYNNEX, shared an update on his time so far leading the company and his personal connection to Berlin given that his mother is German and he grew up visiting the city often. He then announced the launch of our new “Making IT Personal” campaign with a first look at our new company anthem video. The motivation for this campaign is to showcase our culture and commitment to putting people first. Whether it be through finding customized solutions for our customers, providing opportunities for co-workers to grow and develop, or connecting with our local communities, TD SYNNEX is Making IT Personal across the IT ecosystem. Patrick then offered partners a preview of TD SYNNEX’s third-annual Direction of Technology Report—a comprehensive, data-driven roadmap created from insights gathered from over 1,000 channel partners across 60 countries.
The rest of the agenda featured speakers from across the IT ecosystem sharing their perspectives and predictions for the year ahead. We also announced our annual charitable donation on behalf of the event attendees which, this year, was scholarships for two students at CodeOp – an international tech school for women, transgender, and non-binary individuals (women+).
It was another busy but fruitful event with 400+ meetings and countless impactful connections. We’re already looking forward to EVPS 2025!

In South Carolina, the city of Greenville became the epicenter of innovation and strategic collaboration as TD SYNNEX hosted its annual Vendor Summit and Inspire conference. With a focus on the theme “In Full Color,” the event celebrated the power of partnerships and a shared vision for the future of technology. From inspiring keynote sessions to impactful new initiatives, the event exemplified the power of collaboration and innovation, reinforcing TD SYNNEX’s commitment to empowering its partners and driving collective growth.
A major highlight of the week was the unveiling of the third annual Direction of Technology Report to our U.S. and Canada audience. This report showcases key trends and actionable insights to help partners stay competitive and forward-thinking in the tech landscape. Attendees were able to explore the findings, which focused on flexible consumption models, balancing security with innovation, and the importance of collaboration to drive progress. Vendors, Partners and Customers explored these findings in dedicated breakout sessions, where internal and external SME’s experts shared actionable strategies for addressing these challenges, ensuring partners felt prepared to apply these insights in their own operations.
Another key highlight was the launch of the Destination AI™ Practice Accelerator in North America, a new initiative aimed at equipping partners with practical AI tools and resources. This program empowers partners to embed AI into their offerings, enhancing their capabilities to meet customer demands with smarter solutions.
Throughout the conference, collaboration emerged as a defining theme. North America President Reyna Thompson’s guiding mottos were woven into every aspect of the event:
- We Dare to Go
- We Win Together
- We Get Stuff Done
Her message, “We dare to go—we face challenges head-on,” echoed throughout, setting a tone of courage and resilience. Her focus on “Win together” captured the essence of collective ingenuity, while “We get stuff done” celebrated TD SYNNEX’s operational excellence. The energy was indescribable, reinforcing that true progress is fueled by partners uniting with a shared purpose.
Similar to EVPS, this week long event also celebrated the ‘Making IT Personal’ brand refresh, highlighting TD SYNNEX’s focus on fostering human connections and delivering personalized solutions in today’s more complex environment.
This year’s Vendor Summit and Inspire conference ultimately demonstrated TD SYNNEX’s continued commitment to empowering its partners through collaboration and innovation that drives real-world impact, helping them navigate challenges and seize new opportunities together. The message was clear:
Success is built on collaboration, innovation, and partnerships that go beyond business as usual.
Fall 2024 CommunitySolv
Event Snapshots:
- Location: Hollywood, Florida
- Date: November 18-21, 2024
- Attendance: Over 350 partners from the U.S. and Canada
- Theme: “Grow Together, Shape Tomorrow” – A testament to the power of working together to drive innovation.
CommunitySolv, TD SYNNEX’s flagship partner program in North America, offers partners unique opportunities to innovate, network, and grow through collaboration with their peers. This year’s fall event, held Nov. 18–21 in Hollywood, Fla., set a new event record with more than 350 partners from the U.S. and Canada in attendance.
The event challenged partners to “grow together and shape tomorrow” by fostering learning, connection and strategic thinking. Featuring engaging keynotes and panels with leading channel experts, attendees left with fresh ideas to drive their businesses forward. Similar to Inspire, Thompson addressed partners at CommunitySolv, outlining the essential role communities will play in driving success in North America:
“As a distributor, we are not one thing. Our partners need us to be many things. They need us to meet them where they are, and where they are is constantly changing. This is why there is such great value in communities like this one, because we have the opportunity to connect and get stuff done.”
CommunitySolv built off the launch of the global Direction of Technology Report with the release of the North America supplement, which breaks down results from respondents in the region. Attendees received an in-depth look at the regional insights, which identified that opportunities for partners in the region lie in AI innovation, hardware investments and strategic partnerships. TD SYNNEX experts contextualized the results onstage, emphasizing what the trends indicate about the North American IT market and how partners can capitalize on emerging opportunities.
Calhoun McKinney, VP, Go-to-Market Strategy, offered advice to partners based on the report:
“The Direction of Technology identifies an AI pipeline in North America – we’re seeing AI deals close here, and there is a lot of expected growth in that area. But you also have to bring in reliable infrastructure to support the addition of high growth technologies. You have to balance your portfolio to gain a competitive edge.”
In the true spirit of fostering connection, the event featured one-on-one networking and targeted breakouts tailored to attendees’ interests. These sessions addressed business enablement needs and opportunities in regard to AI services, Destination AI™ and TD SYNNEX’s Practice Builder methodology. A new Digital Bridge offering, currently piloting with CommunitySolv members, was also introduced. This initiative aims to streamline partner engagement by integrating bespoke connectors into existing partner applications.
CommunitySolv’s fall event solidified that the best way forward is together. By leveraging each other’s specialized expertise and perspectives, we can win together and ultimately reach our collective goal: prioritizing the customer experience and simplifying the complex. Kristi Kirby, newly named SVP, North American Communities, summarized the value of communities in her closing address to partners:
“Communities are a commitment to mutual success. We all want to win together – And what better way to do so than by working closely together to solve our industry’s most critical challenges.”
This fall, we witnessed the power of connection come to life. From Berlin to Greenville to Hollywood, each event reinforced the importance of collaboration, innovation, and community in shaping the future of the IT industry. Whether it was exploring insights in the Direction of Technology Report, equipping partners with tools like Destination AI™, or building deeper relationships through CommunitySolv, these gatherings showcased the collective strength of our ecosystem. Together, we’ve set the stage for what’s next.
