Over the past two years, TD SYNNEX has launched significant corporate citizenship initiatives and reached important milestones that reinforce the organization’s position as a global sustainability leader in the IT industry.
Most significantly, last year we launched our global corporate citizenship program with strategic initiatives around innovation, people and the planet. Earlier this year, we published our first Corporate Citizenship Report outlining the progress on our strategic commitments. Looking ahead, we will continue to refine our initiatives and evolve as an organization to ensure we continue to operate to the highest standards.
EcoVadis Sustainability Assessment of Global Companies
Because of these efforts, TD SYNNEX has been recognized with the Silver EcoVadis Medal. Only the top 25% of companies assessed by EcoVadis receive this level of recognition, and this score was reached through an assessment of the company’s sustainability performance.
We’ve continued to make corporate citizenship a global priority, and this is a significant milestone in that journey. We are proud of the progress we’ve made as our commitment to innovation, people and the planet drives us to fulfill our larger purpose.
EcoVadis is a global scoring company that rates companies on their sustainable and responsibility initiatives. The EcoVadis Ratings are trusted globally, and go beyond sustainability and consider other essential factors, such as ethics, environment, labor and human rights, and sustainable procurement, with TD SYNNEX scoring above industry standards in all categories.
Supported by TD SYNNEX’s Corporate Citizenship Program, this year’s recognition acknowledges the company’s progress on strategic initiatives that help deliver long-term value for its business, co-workers, communities, vendors, customers and investors.

Sustainability Enablement Through Education
As a large IT distributor situated in the center of the IT ecosystem, our company is uniquely positioned to drive meaningful environmental and social change. While TD SYNNEX does this across its global organization, a couple of key areas propelled us to be recognized by EcoVadis in 2023. Those areas include:
- Skills training and career development
- Diversity, equity and inclusion activities led by our dedicated Business Resource Groups
- Enhanced corporate citizenship policies
- Climate action
We’ve also elevated our commitment to biodiversity and human rights, which underpinned the work we did in 2023.
TD SYNNEX published its Global Human Rights Policy, which provides guidance and establishes clear expectations for TD SYNNEX and its business partners. The policy outlines fundamental principles to ensure compliance with laws and regulations, and adherence to standards surrounding wages and benefits, child labor, modern slavery, forced labor and human trafficking, working hours, discrimination and harassment, environmental, health and safety, and freedom of association.
Working on a Sustainable Future
Furthermore, TD SYNNEX was recently honored with the “Bold and Brave” Award by Treedom for its work with the conservation organization to plant more than 30,200 trees in East Africa, or one for every TD SYNNEX employee. Together, these trees make up the “TD SYNNEX Forest,” which supports the environment by helping to protect biodiversity, mitigate soil erosion and desertification and sequester carbon. As part of this ongoing effort, TD SYNNEX has committed to planting a tree for each current and new TD SYNNEX employee, to continue the tradition and increase our environmental impact.
TD SYNNEX co-workers, partners, vendors, and stakeholders across the globe should be proud of these accomplishments. But this is also a reminder that the work doesn’t stop here. This is a chance to see how we can improve and make a positive impact in the communities we service across the globe.
