Did you know that 673 million people faced hunger in 2024? That’s 8.3% of the global population. From job loss to natural disasters, millions rely on food banks and relief programs to get access to nutritious food. This July, TD SYNNEX celebrated its 4th annual Next Meal Campaign, dedicating the month to addressing food insecurity in the communities where we live and work. Through the Next Meal Campaign, we can all play a part in supporting access to healthy food and promoting overall well-being.
Together, 443 of our co-workers stepped up in a big way this year, dedicating 1,044 volunteer hours and supporting over 20 nonprofit organizations across the globe. From packing and distributing meals to volunteering at local food banks, every action made a difference. Take a closer look at how our co-workers supported hunger relief efforts in July.
This year also introduced the One Action, One Meal Challenge, a new initiative that empowered co-workers to fight hunger through everyday actions like preparing mindful meals at home and reducing food waste, to setting grocery budgets and donating to those in need. Each action completed contributed to a $5,000 donation to World Central Kitchen, an organization delivering meals to communities impacted by disasters and humanitarian crises.
Every step taken this month proved that even small actions can create lasting change. Thank you to every co-worker who took part in the Next Meal Campaign.
Together, we’re building stronger, healthier, and more food-secure communities — one meal at a time.
