In today’s modern business environment, companies aren’t just encouraged to make a positive impact on their communities; it’s expected, and TD SYNNEX is committed to leading the way. Last year, TD SYNNEX invested in a new social impact platform in partnership with Deed, officially launching to meet these expectations. Through the platform, TD SYNNEX co-workers can champion causes they care about, explore new areas of impact, track their volunteer hours and inspire others to engage in meaningful community service. As we mark one year since integrating this initiative, here’s how it can make a difference in your organization:

1. Boosting Employee Engagement

Co-workers are increasingly looking for purpose in their work — This platform provides opportunities for employees to participate in meaningful volunteer activities, which boosts morale and strengthens their connection to one another and the company.

Since launching our own platform in July 2023, TD SYNNEX employees have logged a total of 7,537 volunteer hours. Of those hours, 7,321 of them are from in-person volunteering and 216 are from virtual volunteering. A digital social engagement platform is the perfect solution for reaching fully remote co-workers.

2. Strengthening Community Ties

Building strong relationships with local communities is essential for long-term success. A dedicated platform has helped TD SYNNEX organize and track community engagement, ensuring that efforts are meaningful, aligned with our core values and meeting community needs.

In just one year with the platform, TD SYNNEX has been able to support the missions of 94 different nonprofit organizations local to the communities where our co-workers live and work.

3. Attracting Top Talent

In a competitive job market, attracting and retaining top talent is critical. Prospective employees want to work for companies that align with their values and offer opportunities to make a difference. Our social impact platform has allowed TD SYNNEX to create a purpose-driven workplace where employees feel valued and motivated. This not only improves retention rates but also makes TD SYNNEX more attractive to prospective employees who prioritize corporate social responsibility.

During the month of July, TD SYNNEX recognizes the Next Meal Campaign, an initiative dedicated to addressing food insecurity in our local communities. This year, 37 summer interns across our US locations (Clearwater, FL, Greenville, SC, Herndon, VA, and Gilbert, AZ) participated by volunteering a total of 84 hours with local nonprofits helping to feed our community. When asked about their experiences and their thoughts on companies prioritizing corporate citizenship, they shared:
